Topological Content Delivery With Feedback and Random Receiver Cache

چکیده

We study the problem of content delivery in two-user interference channels with altering topology, random available cache at receivers, and delayed channel knowledge transmitter. establish a new set outer-bounds on achievable rates when each receiver has access to fraction message intended for other receiver, transmitter is aware which part its own known unintended receiver. The reveal significant potential rate boost associated even small amount side-information key deriving bounds quantify baseline entropy that will always become given topology already side-information. also present matching certain scenarios outline challenges more general settings.

Cache-Aided Content Delivery in Fog-RAN Systems with Topological Information and no CSI

In this work, we consider a Fog Radio Access Network (F-RAN) system with a partially connected wireless topology and no channel state information available at the cloud and Edge Nodes (ENs). An F-RAN consists of ENs that are equipped with caches and connected to the cloud through fronthaul links. We first focus on the case where cloud connectivity is disabled, and hence the ENs have to satisfy ...

Content-based image retrieval with relevance feedback using random walks

In this paper we propose a novel approach to content-based image retrieval with relevance feedback, which is based on the random walker algorithm introduced in the context of interactive image segmentation. The idea is to treat the relevant and non-relevant images labeled by the user at every feedback round as “seed” nodes for the random walker problem. The ranking score for each unlabeled imag...

On Coding for Cache-Aided Delivery of Dynamic Correlated Content

Cache-aided coded multicast leverages side information at wireless edge caches to efficiently serve multiple unicast demands via common multicast transmissions, leading to load reductions that are proportional to the aggregate cache size. However, the increasingly dynamic, unpredictable, and personalized nature of the content that users consume challenges the efficiency of existing caching-base...

Femto-Caching with Soft Cache Hits: Improving Performance through Recommendation and Delivery of Related Content

Pushing popular content to cheap “helper” nodes (e.g., small cells) during off-peak hours has recently been proposed to cope with the increase in mobile data traffic. User requests can be served locally from these helper nodes, if the requested content is available in at least one of the nearby helpers. Nevertheless, the collective storage of a few nearby helper nodes does not usually suffice t...

Zero-Content Augmented Cache

It has been observed that some applications manipulate large amounts of null data. Moreover these zero data often exhibit high spatial locality. On some applications more than 20% of the data accesses concern null data blocks. Representing a null block in a cache on a standard cache line appears as a waste of resources. In this paper, we propose the Zero-Content Augmented cache, the ZCA cache. ...
